Pokémon Pinball

In the great tradition of Pinball, Kirby's Pinball Land, and Galactic Pinball (one of the better Virtual Boy games), Pokémon enters the realm of bumpers and flippers.

Story: It's a pinball game, do you really expect a story?

Gameplay: Gimme a break. You hit a ball around one of two fields.

3.3 (out of 4)

Graphics: Relatively unspectacular. The character art is good, but the actual machines lack detail. The ball is very good.

3.0

Music & Sound: One big thing missing from this game is the use of stereo sound for bumpers, etc. The music is good, although mostly unfamiliar. The game makes (unspectacular) use of digitized (Pikachu) voice.

2.7

Play Control: I still haven't gotten the hang of aiming the ball, which is unlike most pinball games.

3.0

Raw average (25%, 25%, 25%, 25%): 3.0

Tilt average (40%, 15%, 10%, 35%): 3.1

My score: 3.2
