Site Features

Here's some of the cool features here a Pokéwatch:

PIRN

The site's streaming MP3 radio station, with video game hits from the 80's. 90's, and, um 2000's.

The Great Site Funding Experiment

As you may know, webmaster is not a high-paying job. Unfortunately, I happen to be a greedy, money loving pig. If you want to help the site (as 20% of the money I make goes back to it), click on the above link and join ClickDough, a pay-to-surf program.

News

Pokéwatch's news page is different from most others in that all the news stories are fake (if you want real news, listen to Pokétalk). Extremely funny, these stories will bring a smile to your face.

Reviews

The reviews section is just what you'd expect from any site: reviews. Games and products of all shapes and sizes are rated here. My review system uses a four-point scale using the following values:

1.0 or less: Not worth it.

2.0: Worth playing once.

3.0: Worth playing several times.

4.0 Worth playing an infinite number of times.

Obviously, getting a 4.0 is impossible (except in play control).

The Card Game

Dedicated to those little pieces of paper everyone wants, it has a few sections:

Deck Journal

Want me to rate your deck? Send it over!

Best and Worst

Takes a look at the best and the worst of the cards.

Fake Cards

Be sure to take a look at these!

The Cartoon

Pokéwatch's most diverse section contains a multitude of sub-sections, some of which have more to do with the cartoon than others. Here are a few:

Characters

A brief run-down of all the major characters on the show you might have watched.

Crazy Comparisons

Every so often I take one thing from the world of Pokémon, and another that isn't. The result? Crazy Comparisons.

The Poll

With a topic that changes every few weeks, you can voice your opinion here.

Signs Pokémon has Fried Your Brain and Made You go Insane

If you're at all uncertain, or actually care, read this list. Even if you don't, read it.

Pokétalk

The site mailbag, where that psychic powerhouse Mewtwo and little-ol-me answer the letters people like you send in.

The Secret Pages

In case you didn't know, there are secret pages hidden on the site. Don't bother asking me for hints, because these are the ones you get:

1. In a special world that's two steps from outrageous,
You'll find a link that flashes less spacious.

2. You'll stunt yourself, but please do try
to look in a red space next to an eye.

All these clues are Nintendo or site-related, so go for it!
